We are teachers whose goal is to assist families in their educational journey. We offer guidance to students, helping them feel more confident and excited about learning.
Bio
With over 35 years of teaching experience in grades K-9, I have the privilege of being acquainted with a wide variety of teaching materials and methods. I use out-of-the-box type teaching to help the student who doesn't fit the boxed curricula for a subject.
I have had to teach many different deficiencies. More recently, I had to take a non-reading 8th-grade girl from public school, who was failing all subjects. After working with that student, she is now an A student in 9th-grade public school. The reward of helping students is to see them fly on their own.
The sample button below links to a 9-year-old boy that took off flying with his studies. Sam hated History. However, by changing the subject to include the love of airplanes, he successfully learned and understood History. He even entered a LEGO contest with his history time-line study that he created on his own.
